R&D Editions is a fine art press creating limited edition prints with artist, scientists and engineers. Each editions is a collaboration between the printer and invited participants on a concept related to their work. Editions will be produced over a several-month to year-long process dependent upon scale and detail of the conceived print.

James McHenry 4-H STEAM Team Goes on the Road to the Greenbelt Mini Maker Faire!

There is some exciting activity happening after school in Prince George’s County’s James McHenry Elementary School 4-H STEAM Team. This team, investigating Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (hence STEAM)  is made up of 17 third- through fifth- graders, most of whom are bilingual with Spanish (with some French and African dialects thrown in) as their first language, but that doesn’t slow these kids down! They are sewing, felting, adding electronics to their creations to create e-Textiles, and more! Continue reading
